اوقفت نيابة امن الدولة المصرية لفترة وجيزة جميلي محمد شحاته صاحب دار نشر مصرية لنشره رواية تنتقد الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي والتي صاردت الشرطة بعض نسخها، كما اكدت الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الانسان الخميس.
وقال جمال عيد، مدير الشبكة لفرانس برس ان النيابة استدعت كذلك الكاتب المصري ادريس علي مؤلف رواية "الزعيم يحلق شعره" لاستجوابه. وتتضمن الرواية مذكرات الكاتب الذي عمل لسنوات في ليبيا ويوجه فيها انتقادات صريحة للقذافي. وقال عيد انه استدعي بشأن "توجيه شتائم للقذافي ولان كتابه يتضمن عبارات غير اخلاقية".
واوقف الناشر جميلي محمد شحاته الثلاثاء في مكتبه واقتيد الى مركز قريب للشرطة، كما قال عيد موضحا انه استجوب بشأن "القدح والذم بحق القذافي".
وكان القانون المصري ينص على محاكمة "كل من يسيء الى رئيس دولة شقيقة او صديقة" حتى 2006 عندما تم تعديله ليشمل ذلك الاساءة الى الرئيس المصري حسني مبارك، كما اوضح عيد.
ونقل الناشر شحاته الى نيابة امن الدولة التي قررت الافراج عنه، لكن من غير المعروف ان كانت تعتزم توجيه اي تهمة اليه. ولم يتسن الاتصال بالشرطة للحصول على توضيحات، ولم يتسن التأكد من مصادرة الكتاب من المكتبات او من معرض الكتاب الدولي.
